Same ol’ stuff

Same ol’

Amigos. What a week of the same old stuff!: the press has been fawning over the North Korea, South Korea love affair, the president’s love affairs, Russian meddling, stocks up one week, down the next, no deal on immigration, the budget crisis and now Florida. Like I said, no news: a week of the same ol’ stuff. And now to top it off, we get cold and rain. We might even see Professor Jim tomorrow, since he threatens not to go on his trip until the weather improves. Looks like we might be stuck with him until March ‒ finally something that does affect all of us. But, not to worry, there’s plenty of other things we can talk about:

  • What about Olympic curling? Still alive and to some that’s a miracle.
  • There have not been 2018 school shooting this year. A hopeful note: there’s time.
  • It’s illegal to boil a lobster in Switzerland. I say don’t go there.
  • The polar vortex just split. What that means to you.

And more nail biting revelations: “You have persevered and have endured hardships for my name, and have not grown weary.”

The hardships yes, the not grown weary not so much.

Can we disagree with a revelation?
