Generally speaking, what to some people might look like an insurmountable problem can be nothing but chicken feed to someone else, in other words, easy pickings, especially if the other person is not involved in the so called “problem”. This, I suppose, is the reason we frequently need mediators, or a third party. Sure, some problems have no solution, but most do, if only one takes the trouble to study on it and figure it out. And while some solutions are easy, and others not so much, they all come at a price: nothing, not even good solutions are free. I wrote this article to illustrate the point even though I didn’t explain it: “Give the reader some credit for smarts,” said a mentor of mine once, “they can figure out a lot, all by themselves.”
